on Prevention in Agriculture 12 – 14 OCTOBER 2016 PARIS, FRANCE
The 38th International Colloquium of the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture was held in Paris, France on 12-14 October 2016.
The Colloquium was organized by the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture in cooperation with Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA) from France and Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) from Poland.
The Colloquium provided an opportunity for experts to share their experiences with regard to the innovations for prevention in agriculture.
The Colloquium was addressed to institutions, organizations and people interested in occupational safety and health in agriculture, livestock farming, horticulture and forestry. The conference organizers especially welcomed the presence of farmers, OSH experts, researchers and clinicians involved in health and safety in agriculture.
The objective of Colloquium was to explore and present recent achievements and highlight good practices regarding various aspects of prevention in agriculture, including the following topics:
- New approaches in occupational health and safety
- Challenges for occupational health and safety in developing countries
- Innovation in machinery
- Sustainable use of chemical products
- Psycho-social risks
- The role of education and training
The working languages of the Colloquium were English, French, German.
